I love meandering thru gardens...man or God designed, it doesn't really matter. The beautiful shades of colours, the light dancing on leaves, new buds unfolding, the many shapes of petals and leaves, seeds and bugs... ahhh it does the soul good to breath it all in. I am a new 50 year old, meandering in life's garden and here you will find my musings, reflections and insights as I find myself in different gardens surrounded by ever changing foliage... ...come wander with me...

Where to begin?
What an adventure this truly is! I have had many friends suggest I write my story down but I never have! Whether it was the mammoth task of working out where to start and what was relevant or the thought that it might not interest others, I'm not sure. But the bottom line is I have 4 empty journal log books on my shelf, all smiling at me empty and dusty except for their inscripted titles! Then one day a dear friend whispered the words 'blog Rowena' to me over coffee and I was instantly excited! And so now the story of the past 8 years can slowly be retold as I feel brave enough and ready, meandering through my garden, stopping to ponder, gathering my courage....I think it is time to begin...
